Abstract : The spokesman is a prominent media figure in times of crises that organization may expose to , through his direct contact with the organization masses, he is aware of all the perceptions and public trends of the Organization work field and its internal and external environment, accordingly prediction of the crises and potential risks before its occurrence and showing all the legal and communication procedures that they produce in preparation for resolving the crises and recovering from it. This study examines the role of the official spokesman in the ministries of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where the problem of the study is determining the efficiency of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia in the performance of communication tasks, especially the Department of Public Relations, as well as the impact of the official spokesman on the formation of its mental image of its inner audience. In this regard, the study dealt with the subject of the official spokesman for the organizations whether the governmental or the private ones. The researcher noted through his reading of the study theoretical framework that most of the previous studies dealt with the issue of the official spokesman as a sub-axis in the crises management issue in line with the advanced technological developments in the field of communications and information technology and its parallel development in media studies field, which overshadowed the principles of dialogue and interactivity in electronic media. The study dealt with many questions in terms of the role of the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health in drawing of the mental image of the audience about the performance of the ministry . Where the study reached several aspects such as personal contact with the staff of the Department of Public Relations directly and the concern of public relations to disseminate the data of the activities and achievements in the field of public health and show supreme mastery in knowing the Arabic language , the spokesman should publish the cases and communication attitudes of the Ministry and follow-up data to publish on the Web sites affiliated to the ministry .
